Privacy policy
This website hosts a free game. It doesn’t use any tracking cookies. There is no Adsense here, no Facebook plugin, no google login or similar things. Just the game, and some technically required cookies that ensure functionality of the site. They do not contain any information about you. If you made an account for the game, then you can delete your account at any time, and all of your data along with it, using the delete button. I am not interested in your data, I only collect as much as is needed for running this service, I do not process it and I do not share your data with third parties. The web server acts the same as nearly every other web server out there, it collects your IP address, what pages on this website you visited, and also data about your OS and browser version, unless you use a privacy browser such as Mullvad Browser. I do not process or share this data and it gets automatically deleted regularly.
Here is the full privacy policy:
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Everything we store is required for providing the service to you / running the game. In order to sign up for the game and forum, a username and a password are required. An email address is optional. We store your password hashed and encrypted. Nonetheless, we recommend using a throwaway email and password. We will store the data that you provided to us until the day that you delete your account or the day it gets deleted by us. We might delete your account after long periods of inactivity, or if you’ve been found breaking a rule, or for any other reasons we seem fit. The web server keeps logs of IP addresses and browser agents of the website’s visitors. Those logs are automatically deleted within a few days.
The game server records many of your character’s actions for the purposes of debugging, support, anti-cheat measures, security, or others. We store your in-game settings, such as your language settings, character descriptions that you may have entered, and in-game messages (see next paragraph below).
Comments / messages
When users leave comments or messages on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form. In particular this applies to the in-game pinboards and chats where players can post messages. They are automatically deleted within a certain time.
Cookies
All of our cookies are technically necessary cookies that help run the site – no tracking. If you sign up for this game, you may opt-in to having your login and a temporary, randomly generated password stored in cookies. These are for your convenience, so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you log in. Another cookie will be set to store your language preference. These cookies are set to be deleted after 30 days. In the future, some more cookies may be added, if they become necessary to provide the service. Any cookies we add will always be strictly necessary.
Embedded content from other websites
There is no embedded content on this website. There is no tracking, no Facebook plugin, currently no Adsense or any similar things.
Analytics
There are no analytics being run on this site.
Who we share your data with
We do not share your data with anyone.
How long we retain your data
The pinboards in the game are automatically emptied after a lengthy time span. The group chats are emptied quite quickly. The messages are then deleted in our database as well.
Your account information is stored until you terminate your account, or might be deleted at a later time if your account has been inactive for a long time.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you – but it’s much easier to just delete your account yourself. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
We don’t send your data anywhere. We currently use Protonmail servers to process email.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We follow best security practices and take all available precautions to protect your data. Your password is only stored in hashed and encrypted form.
